I am looking for a new mini (i.e not a new mini, but a classic mini that
is new to me. you guys know what I mean ;)). I'm looking for anything
that has all the following:

- Rust-free on all the vitals
- Decent paint job
- Must run well
- Must run on unleaded petrol
- Is located in the North-West (liverpool / wirral / manchester is ideal)
- manual transmission.

Not too fussed about engine size, but a cooper of some denomination
would of course be great!

My budget isn't too big, (£1000 - £1500 or so) but if a particularly
good specimen comes along, I might be able to free up some more cash.

Anyone have any ideas?

Haje

hey Karl! Thanks ;)

I had already looked on eBay, actually, but I am quite apprehensive to
buy something as fickle as a car via the internet. Computer-stuff is
okay, I guess, since it is easy to realise if something works or not,
but with cars, there is so much that can go wrong, and I am not
particularly clever when it comes to the little buggers, so.. well.. I
dunno.

Thanks for the tip anyway - I will keep an eye out, at least.

Thanks!

haje
