Metro engine in the barn, so a nice accasion to check the cluch, but the
cluch + flywheel won't come off, even using a puller and a big hammer to hit
the puller. *#!^=!!
Any tips?

And Elvis was sitting next to John Reinders in the spaceship, which I
thought was kinda weird, but then they turned to me and said:

Overtightening the central puller bolt is usually the cause - it distorts
the flywheel, and actually makes it grip the taper tighter (also makes it
come off with a hell of a bang when it finally lets go...)
Tighten the centre bolt tight but not HEAVE tight - not more than one
flat of the bolt. Tap the end of the bolt sharply a few times with a club
hammer, and you'll then find that you can tighten the centre bolt a
little more - but not too much. Repeat until it pops off.
If that fails, pour a kettle full of boiling water over the centre of the
flywheel. Alternating kettles full of boiling water and jugs of cold
water with a few sharp hammer blows will usually shift the ones that
nothing else works for.

Try leaving it under tension for a while and heating it with a blowtorch
- might fly off with a BANG though be warned.
