why do you want to know? they look pretty ugly to me... but I guess it's
just a matter of personal taste.
I think that the best looking seats for a not-too-sporty look are the
original cooper seats 1996-on. I was lucky enough to put my hands on a set
for ?200... They look great in my "ex" mayfair ;-)

I have a set in the garage that I am going to sell. I want something mk1
looking in green I think. I was just wondering about those seats as they
claimed to be "S" spec. Having never been into coopers of any variety, I
know little about what seats to put in my new (very old) mini ;)
I think I want some Mk1 seats if anyone has any - I don't mind getting
Newton covers and recovering them if they need it. Anyone?

They look like covers. If you look at the picture where the floor carpet is
shown and look at the corner of the passenger side seat at the bottom,
you'll see that it is hanging loosely
