I've just taken this diff out of my MG Metro 1275 engine.

When I bought it I was told that the car was fitted with a Quaife LSD.
Does this look like a Quaife?

Thanks!

I've also got some photos of the diff housing on the same engine.
Here's what happens if you fit an aftermarket diff without first
machining off any of the casing to give adequate clearance!

Hi,
Without examining the parts personally, it looks to me that there has been a
piece of something running around loose in the diff  housing. Has something
else in the box or engine broken?
Keith
