changing front discs

Hello, I'm in the process of changing the front brake discs,  but I'm kinda
stuck... actually the hub flange is kinda stuck... it says on the haynes
manual that once you remove the nut holding the hub flange and disc to the
driveshaft, you just pull the disc/hub flange off. Well, it won't come
off... I was going to buy a separator tool, but it's sunday and everything
is shut so I thought I might as well ask you guys...

It is the taper split washer that is holding it on. If you take a soft face
hammer (or a standard hammer and a block of wood) tap the end of the drive
shaft being careful not to damage the thread. This should free it off.
