I imagine the old-style Mini is one of the smallest cars on the road at the
moment, if not the smallest. What other cars are there or thereabouts in the
length stakes?

electrical cars are about the same as well..

The Smart is shorter, but wider and higher.

Apart from the Mini, I figured the Smart would be one of the smallest, along
with the Fiats Seicento and Cinquecento. Other posts suggested the Reliant,
Fiat 500 and Hillman Imp, though you never see these cars on the road
anymore.

I was in Paris a short while ago, and I saw 5-6 Fiat 500s, several
Cinquecentos and I saw about 50 minis. In fact, I saw more minis in a
day in Paris, than I do during an average day in the UK. Quite
surprising, actually.

As others say comparing wheel basis.
What about the overall length of the body.
The mini has wheels stuck in each corner.
