I`m planning on raising the front of my car by slipping washers onto the end
of the trumpet this weekend.
Can anyone give me any advice on what to look out for, the simplest way to
do it and what problems I might encounter.
Thanks
Jamie

You'll need a suspension compressor and some nimble fingers.
If you suspension is lagging you should check the knuckle joints whilst
you're there - they often wear through the little grey nylon cup they sit
in.
And if your suspension trumpets have been shortened, then it might be
easier to replace them with ones from a scrapped mini, or with adjustable
trumpets.
Splam ( way too early in the morning for this ).

You need a cone compressor tool, and I'm sure everything will be fairly
easy, the worst thing that could happen would be that the trumpet has
rusted together with the knuckle joint. That would easily prevent you from
achieving your goal.(you would probably have to buy new trumpets & knucle
joints)
