Hi Guys,
Project Vtec mini is kind of getting past the planning stages now, i've
finally planned out when im going to do what and when. So thats all cool. Im
going to be doing most of the cosmetic work first as i'm going to need to
keep using the car for the next 12 months or so, and finally get the
conversion done as quickly as possible so the car is off the road for the
shortest amount of time possible.
With a 1275 engine, has anyone had any exprience of Mini Spares stage 1
tuning kit, is it worth the ?169 asking price, as I want to get just a
little more out of the 1275 for now without spending loads of bucks as its
all gonna come back out again?
Your comments? :-)
Thanks in Advance
Tom

Dude! I hope you have a digital camera and keep a detailed log of what
you do! Put it on a website, it would make for facinating reading!

Are you planning on doing something similar to this:

Hi Tom,
I've installed the equivalent to a stage 1 kit on my 1100 and was very
suprised with the results, it felt quite a bit more responsive. As for
the actual value of the kit I cannot comment as im in Australia, and
prices here are quite different.
I would suggest actually asking (if you haven't already) on the
minispares/minimania forums, I'm sure there would be quite a few
people who have used this kit and would love to share their
experiences. The board can be found here -

Good luck with your VTEC project, sounds awesome :)
