HI

Just bought my first Mini 1000 and don¹t know if anything has been done
to convert it to unleaded. Should I worry about it? Should I use gas
additives? What octate gas should I use? I am in the states and can¹t
really get unleaded...

THANKS

-David

Well modern cars like unleaded but minis don't really, go the whole hog &
get hardened valve seats fitted, then have the engine tuned & the ignition
timing set, I put some octane booster in too, if your engine was made during
1989 or after it should alrerady have the hardened valve seats,

Steve.
