My mate's girlfriend has a year old Mini One 1.6 Currently it is only getting 25 miles per gallon Her dad phoned the dealer who confirmed that this was correct and to be expected even though it is advertised at 40+ Sounds crap to me, i have a 2.8 BMW and get 29mpg Is he being fobbed off? Hello Steve68s How are you mate, do you think the fuel consumption will improve if she takes it out of second gear ?? They are crap. TFP hi I bought a new car in november and looked at the new mini, what a sh.t box ! there is more boot space in my 92 cooper and they even make you pay for a spare wheel. You gotta be really dumb to buy one.
