Successful 1275GT tarmac rally car, 14 point SD cage with diagonal and door
bars,
laminated screen and perspex side and rear, fibreglass bonnet and boot,
10 gallon custom tank,
Strengthened subframes, Bilsteins, Hi-Los, rosejoints, super minifins, etc
etc.

High spec MED 1293 lightened and balanced, cross-drilled crank, centre main
strap,
Omega pistons, scatter cam with belt drive,
Longman head, S forged rockers with spacer kit,
rally clutch, ultra light steel flywheel & lightened S backplate,
S distributor and Alpha Plus ignition,
Weber 45 on long inlet,
Maniflo LCB and twin box competition exhaust system,

alloy remote 4sync sccr with 4.3 LSD,

Engine and box were new four events ago.

This car was built as a rally car and registered with an L suffix in 1972.
It is therefore tax-exempt, and eligible for the post-historic rally
category.

Originally built by Chris Paton for the Tour of Mull, best result on Mull
was fourth overall.
(For info on the Tour Of Mull rally see www.2300club.org )

Unused last 12 years, needs seats, tidy up, paint the new wing and front
panel, and reassembled.

With history, receipts, old MOTs, RACMSA rally car logbook, etc.
Road tax exempt!

Mountains of spares.

Sell complete or split shell from engine & box.
Will not break engine unit.

Plus loads of other standard and go-faster mini bits,
including Cooper S bits,
10", 12" and 13" wheels and road and competition tyres.

I wouldn't sell this but I have too many projects and not enough space, have
to manage with one less garage
than before since granny moved and I have no room to work.

If interested, I can email a list or photos of specific items.

Neither are for "sale" as you've not mentioned a price anywhere? :-(

If you have any good brake parts or heads etc, I could do with some decent
bits to pop on my rover cooper...

however, Ive been benned from getting a load to buy the car, even though I
would really like all of it  :(

regards
Chris

I have S brakes (hubs, drive flanges, discs, calipers) needing overhaul (not
used for years)
and metro turbo ventilated discs and four pot calipers (ditto)

I have a 998 Cooper 12G295 head, but no big engine heads.
Don't want to split the rally engine.
