Stupid pron links on this lovely newsgroup

i am getting seriously annoyed with the influx of these posts
can they be stoped?
are they acutal people sending them or "bots"

It's not just this group, and it's not porn.

The attached .scr file is of course a virus. I assume the ones which
refer to a website also lead to a virus. All the disparate newsgroups I
read have had a sharp increase in this sort of stuff lately.

Does anyone know of a good news server that carries the binary groups?

I have broadband but my server doesn't carry them - which is a bit
pointless...

Use a different news server. I use Forte's APN service. It costs me
$2.95 a month, but I never see any of these spam articles.
