Sorry folks,
I know its off topic, and its not a mini,, but its my workhorse and it
enables me to keep my two minis on the road (Sidewalk and a City E)
I thought I could get some info from the group,,, but its now sorted,,
The Peugeot group was some help,, but when it comes to Diesel injection
pumps, it's like entering  a "black hole"
no one seems to know how these pumps work, except a chosen few,
I would guess that about 90% of mechanics haven't got a clue as to the
workings of a diesel pump,  I say this with respect for other mechanic's
as I know its not in there training program, or it wasn't when I was on the
spanners,

I have modified and fitted another injection pump,
and it appears to be running OK
