Hi All
I need to buy LCB's for my mini this week and I'm wondering if there's any
benefit in paying extra for a well known brand of LCB's (such as maniflow)
or if well made budget ones are just as good. It will only be used for the
road and occasional track-days, not a race car.
The car is a 69 cooper S. I've been doing up the engine a bit and hoping to
get it back on the road next week. its got big mk1 s valves + ported and
flowed head, 1330cc, balanced, lightened flywheel, fairly big cam and a
45dcoe weber on a medium-length manifold.
I can get locally (Australian) made LCB's under A$200 I think, but maniflows
are closer to A$300 I think. are they worth the extra?
Thanks
Geoff

Hi Geoff, contact the guys at Linx automotive in Melbourne, they build an
all Aussie LCB which out performs the Maniflo system.

Don't worry I've had a Maniflow LCB fitted to my Mini for the last 6 years
and it's still working fine.
