Hello all,
DrgnHartEclipse here, 28yr old male in Kentucky.
1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS White w/ Gray Int.
No Exterior mods. Had the engine rebuilt at 150,000 now I can keep up with
most of the GST's in the area. Performance Springs and upper Strut Tie bars
(both front and rear)
Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm going to be the most help when it comes
to the stereo side of repairs as I am a MECP Certified Master Installer with
emphasis on High End installations. (but I can personally attest to nothing
will stop a baseball bat through the passenger glass method of getting your
stuff ripped off, other than not getting your spkr box taken 'cause it ways
about 80lbs and theres only one way to get it out.. LOL)
Anyways, Glad to be here and I look forward to the plethera of knowledge I
will hopefully get from this NG.

glad to meet you young man. i am simpleton and i drive a '97 GSX that's been
converted to a sixbolt 1G 4G63 motor. there is a lot that can be learned
here but allow me to also direct you to theses places:
www.vfaq.com
www.dsmtalk.com
www.dsmtuners.com
www.dsmtrader.com
www.roadraceengineering.com
www.buschurracing.com
that should get you going. from there you can follow links to get to the
other DSM sites.
there isn't much emphasis on audio, mostly diy repairs and upgrades for
street and strip.
if i had not busted my crank in half, i'd be installing my system now. i
have an alpine head unit and eq with an old skool ppi a600 amp powering
image dynamics horns and boston pro 6.4 mid-bass. there's a single 12" image
dynamics sub going in the back fed by an antique punch 150.....classic front
stage plus sub. i have been out of the audio thing for some time but was one
of the original autosound 2000 subscribers when richard and dave started up.
good luck and let me say i'm glad there is someone to direct my audio
questions to.
