I have a 1990 Montero with the 3.0 lier engine. It won't start. It
does have spark going to the distributor, but no spark from the
distributor to the plugs. Any ideas?

Cracked distributor cap, corroded rotor or weak coil (strong enough to
spark but not enough to spark across the distributor).

I installed a new coil. Perhaps I need to replace the distributor cap
and rotor.

Probably just the distributor cap!
