Maybe it needs aligment or not, or maybe you just left it way too long to
get new tires. Have you ever had an aligment done?
No shop will do just a rear end alignment: all four wheels are done at once.
This all depends of course if the rear has any adjustment at all. For
example, the 1G Talon / Eclipse and Galant / 2000 GTX have a rear beam axle,
with no adjustment. Colt / Lancer sedans and coupes have a rear camber
adjustment only.
Find out what your car has, and if no rear adjustment, don't pay for a 4
wheel aligment. Ask around for prices on front alignment only: they vary
from shop to shop.

Even if the rear is not adjustable you should still get a "Thrustline" alignment
where the front wheels are aligned to the rear instead of the centerline of the
body. The classic "front wheel alignment" is no longer valid and many of the
newer alignment machines won't even perform them.
Belle Tire in Michigan charged me $59.00 for a 4 wheel alighnment on my AWD
Eclipse. Best, most accurate answer will involve your local yellow pages and
some calls to area shops.
