endeavor leaking water inside cabin floor

hi i just bought brand new leftover 2005 endeavor. took it driving on
new years eve it was snowing and raining. and the next day the carpet
under the driver side was soaked. car is garaged and all windows were
closed. can’t imagine where the waters getting in. but i am very upset
have contacted the dealer who said they will look at it. any advice on
how to handle this situation? :x  thanks.

Yes, keep your cool with the dealer: its not his fault, but he has to sort
it out.  As to why this happened, the clue is "snowing and raining". The
first place I'd look is the air well in front of the windscreen. If this
gets a combo of snow and rain, it can freeze and clog drain holes. When you
garage it, the top melts first and water can run inside though the air
vents.
