Anybody know the difference between spark plug type BPR 5ES 11  and BPR 5ES
.     (or BPR6ES-BPR6ES11)
I have measured and ohmed both types but have still to find any difference .
Just out of pure curiosity i would like to find an answer. Is it the
electrode material or what ?

Did you measure the lengths?

Length of electrode and the thread length are the same on both type plugs
,as far as i can see.

All the info you need can be found here at the NGK site.

Looking at the chart it seems the only difference is in the gap .
Have printed this chart out for future referance   .

BPR 5ES is a hotter plug than the 6ES. If you are getting knocking at high
rpm, put in the hotter plug.

The cooler plugs have more substantial ceramic insulators filling the gap
between the center electrode and the shell, effectively carrying off the
heat, while the hotter plugs have less ceramic material, so that the tip is
more isolated from the body of the plug and retains heat better.
