Minor bending, the engine runs very rough. Major bending, no compression. no
start  You can take the rocker cover off and look at the lifters. The inlet
rockers should be tight against the cam and the lifter. If a rocker can
wobble side to side or you see a gap under the cam and rocker, you have a
bent valve.
