stereo unlock code for 2001 eclipse

was just wondering how to get the code, dont have the owners manual..dont
wanna pay someone to give me a code on a radio thats in a car that i own
already...seems kinda odd to me..just need some help...thx

Talk to the service advisor or the parts counter guy at your local
Mitsubishi dealer. If you can provide the VIN, prove you own the vehicle,
and ask them nicely, they can provide the code.

On my 97, they needed the serial number and model number off of my radio -
then they gave it to me over the phone.
