Ok first let me give you the info, then ill give you the problems. I
just build a 4g63 (2.0 Turbo)Engine, inside and out.
Inside:
Ferria Valves
JE Forged pistons
JE High Performance Rings
Eagle H-Beam Rods
Clevitte Main and Rod Bearings
Outside:
Garret t4 Turbo
HKS headers
JDM Intercooler (2.75 inch Hard Pipes)
HKS SS Blow off valve
Evo 8 Injectors
Electronics:
Apexi S-AFC
Apexi AVC
Apexi Turbo Timer
OK now you have a basic idea of what im working with, here is a few
bugs I can not figure out.
1) Driving down the road (60MPH) the car jumps real bad.
2) Will not idle
3) If I punch it hard, lots of black smoke comes out the back and you
can smell Gasoline.
Im leaning to believe it is a matter of flooding causing all these
problems, I have look over and over again for vaccum leaks, just be be
on the safe side, and there isnt any. I do not know what else to do.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank You
Jerry

I'm not a big turbo guy, but I would suspect bad problems in the mixture
regulating process.
Was the car turbo to begin with? Then take out the extra electronics and
see if its better
if not...... well get out your books and meters to see if the components
that tell the box how much fuel to mix in are doing their job right.

First thing to check is always BOOST LEAK.
Can you lean it out in steps with your AFC?
Are those EVO 8 injectors compatible? I know the EVO 3 were direct
replacements, but thought that they have changed the resistance or something
on the EVO 8 - not sure???
