Mitsubishi Variable Induction Management System, ANYONE ????

Does anybody know exactly how this works on the eclipse 2000
generations? Would a cold air intake modification affect this? would
keeping it stock be a better option? Thanks for your comments.

Like much of Mitsubishi's engineering, these are of a notoriously poor design.
You would be better getting rid of the vehicle than pissing around with a
cold air intake in order to increase the power of these pathetic
engines. Sell it before it smokes - they all eventually smoke prematurely.
