the clutch pedal in my 1993 3000gt sl has absolutely no resistance and
doesn't come back up at all when i push it down. whats really weird is
the only way it will move under its own power is by pulling the
shifter into second as hard as i can and it will slowly start moving
forward. it won't go into gear at all when it's running. what do i
need to do to fix it??

check level in the clutch oil reservoir: the clutch is hydraulic.
If you find a leakage, you'll need a new clutch cylinder.

Not a bad trouble, it's simple to fix. use dot 4 brake fluid.

usually in the engine bay, near the wiper motor and brake reservoir.
the clutch cylinder should be under the clutch pedal (i.e. under the
dasboard, near to the steering column)

try first this: simply remove the cap and fill the reservoir with fluid.
then, push the clutch pedal several times, keeping it pushed for some
seconds.
if still you have problems and/or feel "soft" pedal, you should remove
the clutch line that arrives to the clutch itself (not to easy due to
difficult access) and leave the air go out.
all in all something similar to brake line purge.

a good workshop can fix it in 15-30' and also check if the clutch
cylinder or the line are leaking.

Most likely the slave cylinder on the front of the transmission is leaking.
Get a new one.
