What make, model and mileage?

Wrong- I used to own an AMC Gremlin - THAT was the epitome of automobile
sh.t!
No wait, maybe it was the VW microbus that I pulled the engine about 6
times.
I got it it was the AUDI diesel that died with only 125K on it.
OR maybe the Nissan pickup that I replaced the transmission on twice within
150K?
I know - it has to be my wifes Volvo that just turned 100K and costs us $500
everytime the dealer looks at it!
Sorry you got burned somehow with a Mitsubishi, but I have had two with over
130K with no major problems - and they have been the infamous crankwalk
2G's!

I doubt Mr Bat Grunt has ever owned a Mitsubishi. He probably dislikes
them because they keep blowing his POC off the road.

American cars are in a different league again - they don't bear
consideration at all. Here in Australia there are virtually no US cars
except for the odd w.nker in a Chrysler 300C and one of those stupid retro
looking things. With few exceptions, your domestic cars are crap. On the
odd business trip to the US it is always amusing to drive domestic rental
cars, the most notably sh.t rental I ever drove was a Ford Taurus.
Mitsubishi are a level above US cars for sure, but we are not considering
US cars here.

When I was a youngster I had a sucession of VW bugs. They were all very
reliable and simple to work on. I pulled the engines out of a couple of
them to replace clutch throwout bearings mainly.

The Euro diesel probably died because the fuel available in the US f.cked
the pump or its injectors. It is very unusual for a diesel of any make to
die at that mileage so it was probably abused in some way. Did you change
the oil and filters at the proper schedule?
It sounds like operational abuse to have to replace a box twice, unless
the replacement box was defective in some way.

The only Mitsubishi products I have ever consciously purchased were two 8"
floppy disk drives way back in '81. I have never owned a Mitsushitty car
and will never do so. I have known plenty of people who have been burned
though.

My boss, who has a v70T5 wagon, says "...old Volvos never die, they just
suck the life out of their owners".

Lawns have bushes. You would be much happier doing something
constructive and positive with your life. Just think, you could become
well respected rather than being a joke.

My Mitsushitty has 107,000 miles on it, and still has the original ball
joints and bushings. My piece of crap and grossly inferior American
Dodge has 137,000 miles on it, and the original ball joints, bushings,
and shocks. Who is in denial?
