‘RAGING BULL’ SPECIAL EDITION TO SCORE WITH L200 BUYER

Mitsubishi Motors UK has joined forces with Phil Vickery, and Ragin
Bull Limited, to launch a special edition L200 pick-up. Badged th
L200 Raging Bull to tie in with Vickery’s exclusive performanc
clothing company, the new model comes with £2,000 worth of extras fo
free

Only available in vibrant Aztec Red and as a Double Cab vehicle, th
L200 Raging Bull includes a number of unique features. Most obviou
is the dramatic Raging Bull motif at the base of the driver an
passenger doors. It’s also stitched into the back support of th
leather front seats, and stamped into the front door entry guards

The front is defined by striking chrome resin guard inserts and
stunning chromed sports grille, flanked by stainless steel headlam
and indicator bezels. At the rear is a stylish step bumper to ai
entry into the load bed, and rear stainless steel lamp bezels. Th
L200 Raging Bull is fitted with functional load liner – made o
durable ribbed black plastic – with an integrated and lockabl
storage box against the cab’s rear bulkhead

Interior features that are standard on the L200 Raging Bull includ
Trafficmaster’s award-winning Smartnav navigation system wit
integrated dashboard touch screen

The L200 Raging Bull is based on the Warrior model, which mean
equipment levels are already high. Externally there are stainles
steel sidesteps, chromed door handles, graphite grey wheel arc
extensions and 17-inch alloys. Inside owners benefit from climat
control air-conditioning, leather steering wheel and shift knobs
privacy glass and a six-speaker audio system

Power comes from the L200’s acclaimed 2.5-litre 136PS DI-D common-rai
diesel engine. It’s linked to a Super Select 4WD system via
five-speed manual gearbox, and comes with Mitsubishi Active Stabilit
and Traction Control (M-ASTC). The L200 Raging Bull is also availabl
with a four-speed automatic transmission

Vickery commented: “The L200 is powerful, tough and rugged, yet grea
to look at. The synergy between the L200, rugby and Raging Bull’
performance clothing makes great sense. Combining style, action an
attention to detail, we see great potential in partnering wit
Mitsubishi as we introduce our new ranges of sports and leisur
clothing, later this year.

“We are delighted to be associated with Phil Vickery and his Ragin
Bull company,” said Managing Director of Mitsubishi Motors UK, Ji
Tyrrell. “Mitsubishi has long been associated with active sports, i
particular with rugby. The L200 is a perfect vehicle for thi
association, being tough and versatile with rugged good looks, jus
like Phil!

The L200 Raging Bull costs just £19,249. That’s £2,000 more than th
standard Warrior, but with almost £4,000 worth of extras included i
represents excellent value for money. There will be an initial batc
of 500 units
- Ends

Note

The price of the L200 Raging Bull is exclusive of VAT, Firs
Registration Fee and Vehicle Excise Duty. The L200 was th
top-selling pick-up in the UK for 2006, taking 36 per cent of th
total market

Raging Bull Limited is the official Phil Vickery range of performanc
clothing for sports and teamwear, leisurewear and corporate clothing
The focus is on functionality, innovative design, quality constructio
and durability. For women, the Moody Cow brand offers similar bran
values, plus clothing for hockey, netball and gym.

Phil Vickery MBE was made England rugby captain in January 2007. He’

Cup winning team of 2003. He’s recognised as one of the finest fron
row forwards in the world, combining awesome scrummaging techniqu
with superb handling skills

Fast forward three years. The L200 Raging bull will have leaking valve
stem seals, the decals will be peeling and any sane driver will cringe at
the thought of being seen in such a tasteless absurdity.
