Don't think that those Rover-look-alike scrap firms will do nothing but be
absorbed by some chinese producer.
Mahindra simply produces old Land Rover replicas and Tata is lucky if
produces Fiat clones.
Again, Bhagat, tell us what sort of lemon do you drive and get us rid of
you.

Hey, weren't we in aus.cars going to do that? If I recall correctly it
was going to have a small block V8 auto as the only driveline option,
RWD, separate chassis, and floor mounted headlight dipper switch.
One of those models

Umm. Google the word "motorcycle" you might be pleasantly surprised.

Oh Yes. Very important that bit.

No, we voted down the moron who wanted a floor mounted dipper switch.
The rest of us are capable of using our fingers to flick the blinker
stalk without losing control of the steering. :-)

I'm a Libran Engineer. I don't argue, I discuss.

Motorcycles have only two wheels. The lack of four wheels would
disenfranchise the elderly and infirm (Mitsubishi's primary target
demographic if you ignore the generation Y w.nker demographic). It takes
quite a bit of physical effort to keep a two wheeled vehicle upgright when
parking.
Four wheels handles better and safer than two on wheels as well.

Well except for Harleys.

I doubt he gets laid, otherwise he would be such a sour puss.

Hey gurtu buddy... do you get paid for this kind of junk against
mitsu? Does your ex-wife's hubby drives a mitsu? whats the deal?
:-D

Everyone hates Mitsubishi.

Except those of us who actually OWN one. I have a 94 Eclipse GST and
love it. If Mr Bat Grunt or anyone else chooses to hate Mitsubishi, for
reasons real or imagined, that's fine with me!

I am performing an unpaid public service. I feel that you don't appreciate
this work, but that is OK.
I don't have an ex-wife, the current one is still operating robustly
thank you, although a re-sleeve will probably be a worthwhile job some
time in the future.

It would seem that Mitsubishi are as unloved in other parts of the world as
they are down here :)

You would think the mitsu nuts in aus.cars would start their defence of
the brand by now. :-)

There's been some nice Mitsus. The FTO was sweet, the Lancer EVO and VR4
Galants have high regard. And some people even seem to like the w.nker
(I mean pajero).
But they also had some absolute dogs.
Part of their problem is that they outlasted the worst of the
competition. If the country was still littered with detritus like
Triumph Stags, Leylands, (anything British really) Yugos, Ladas,
Goggomobiles and Lightburn Zetas, then the 380 wouldn't seem so bad.

It's obvious to us that her problem is with the piston being
sub-standard in all manner of operational parameters :)
