I've got another question for anyone out there.  Does any one know how
to remedy the OBD2 error P1603 - Battery Backup Circuit Malfunction
(Mitsubishi)?

When we turn on the car, we get about 5 sensors not responding to the
OBD reader and this error, but once it runs for about a half hour all
is good.  Turn the car off an back on again, and the error and lack of
sensors returns.

Seems to me that if you want anyone to provide their thoughts that at the
minimum you would provide the year, make, and model of the vehicle in
question.
