Greetings. I have an '88 Mighty Max 4WD with the 2.6L engine and manual
trans. I can't get the A/C compressor to engage. Anyone know if there is a
seperate fuse for the A/C and where I might find it? The heater/blower fuse
was blown but that was rat related. I put a gauge on the A/C port but as
far as I know any readings are meaningless unless the compressor is running.

The 1989 Montero/Raider has a fuse under the dash near the heater and
A/C controls. I don't know if the 1988 Mighty Max is similar.
Have you tried posting on www.4x4wire.com
There are a lot of 4wd Mitsubishi owners there.

Thanks, I'll look some more. I took out the glove box and followed all the
wires I could find with no luck so far. I got a wiring diagram and it looks
like there should be a fuse *somewhere.*

Thanks again. I searched for Mighty Max enthusiasts sites/forums but didn't
find that one.
