I recently purchased a 2002 Galant but without the owner's manual(when I can spare the $42 I'll buy one). Anybody out there know the gas tank capacity? I'm trying to compute my mpgs. I do not know the answer, but you do not need the actual tank capacity to make this calculation. All you need to know is that it was full to start and then again after refueling. If you know the amount of fuel consumed in gallons and the distance traveled in miles then it is a simple math divide operation to compute MPG (miles divided by gallons).
