hello, just have a quick question and wondering if i can get some
answer from you guys. if i am installing a brand new airbags, is
there such thing as the "front impact sensor" that i need to install
somewhere around the front bumper? i have a 98 eclipse gs-t and
recently got in a accident and my airbags deployed and now i am
looking for airbags and try to install them myself, but i am not sure
if there are sensors that connects to the computer. quick reply will
be greatly appreciated...

Hi,
Legally you can't install used/rebuilt air bag.

There are multiple sensors to check and or replace. If you do it wrong it
could kill you (while your doing it). The service manual will tell you how
to do it, but IMHO you'd be foolish to do it yourself, and really, would you
ever trust the system again.
How would you feel if you sold the car and someone else died because the
bags didn't deploy.
Just my thoughts
