I've been having some problems with my 93 Diamante lately. It seems
that excelleration has been a bit spurty at times. However after it
has reached consistant driving speed, the car drives fine. Only at low
speeds when excellerating does the car seem to act up. It has about
110,000 miles on it. I've had no problems with it since I brought it
at 95,000 miles until this point.
The transmission was jerky when I brought it but I've heard that
this is the case with diamantes of this particular year. I'm not quite
sure what it could be. This problem started about three days ago and
it has gotten more pronounce since. I'm afraid it might stall on me
because that's what it feels like (though at a lesser extent) in its
bumpy pickup.

Hi,
As simple as fuel filter. Tranny fluid level OK?

I checked the transmission fluid. It's clear and at or above normal
level. I'm not sure about the fuel filter though.
The odd thing is I started having trouble with my car just right after
I filled up my tank at this no frill gas station. The price was cheap,
so I filled up my tank. My car hasn't driven the same since. Anybody
know if bad gasoline could cause the bumpy excelleration that I've
been having lately?
