I have gone to the usual sources like edmunds and autobytel. They do
not have the 2005 Altima data posted yet or they are missing the SL
package invoice price (they set it to zero).

2004 Altima had S and SL models. 2005 has only the S model with an SL
package.

I am looking for the invoice price on the SL package in USD.

Never mind. Edmunds just posted it and it is pretty close (+- 20)to
the number I got when I did a reverse calculation. It is not listed on
the Edmunds 2.5 S listing nor is added into the 2.5SL model listing
invoice price at this point. I found the price in  the following note.

SL Package
Includes vehicle with standard equipment. Package price has been added
to vehicle base price. Required for ordering purposes. (Original MSRP
$3850/Invoice $3501)
