i'm now on my 2nd Accord V6 EX-L, and ready to purchase again.  The car
has been so problem free, it's tempting to purchase again but its boring
styling has me considering the Altima SL (fully loaded).  I like it, but
a little concerned that the interior doesn't give a more "substantial"
feel as Honda (in other words, cheaper) and concerned its a reflection
of the entire car itself. Is comparing Altima to Honda V6 EX-L comparing
apples to apples?  Did you own V-6 Accord prior to purchasing your
Altima and happy with choice?  If yes, how long have you had your Altima?

I can't answer all of your questions.  Even though I am a big Nissan fan, I
agree that the Accord interior is much nicer than the Altima.  But, yes, I
think you're comparing apples to apples.  The Altima is targeted directly at
the Accord.  My guess is it's probably a little cheaper than the Honda.

its funny though. the altima looks more posh than the accord. well the 2
door looks very benzy in the back and Altimy in the front... just me.
inside accord is better.

I have the 3.5 model and my wife has a 2009 accord and all I can say is
this....Altima kicks a.s over the Accord...period!!

Hey, I'd love to see pics of the '09 Accord. Do they have the
dualinlineifiniferators?

Having looked at both vehicles...there is IMHO no comparison. The Altima 2.5
or 3.5 both outperform the Accord, look better standing still than the
Accord and are a kick to drive. Interior is much more comfortable in the
Atlima, as well. I'm not the smallest person around, so roominess is a plus.
Hondas have a good rep for reliability, Nissan is no slouch. If you have to
drive you may as well have fun doing it.
