I am having trouble with the driver's window power button when trying to
raise the window on my 2000 altima se. The button works but I have to pull
it back really hard and hold it. This just started and I was wondering if
anyone had this problem before I began to explore it.

I've had a similar problem before and it turned out that the contacts were
burned out from the initial sparking. I decided that the $20 junkyard one
was worth it and simply replaced it. Also, if you can get you hands on
some electrical grease put it on the contacts if possible.

I had the same problem and the same resolution.  Hit the junkyard and get a
used one.  Much cheaper.
