I have 2K Altima SE that has started making a rattling sound (metal like
sound) when I first hit the gas pedal. It happens at different times and
doesn't always happen. I have had it in the shop several times and they
can't find anything wrong with it. Has anyone had this type of problem
before? I'm thinking it might be in the exhaust since that is the only thing
that hasn't been checked.

Also, I have got to purchase a new radiotor for it as well. How much is that
going to set me back?

Thanks,
Daniel

I had the same problem with my 2K -- not when I hit the gas pedal, but
at random when I'd corner or hit a bump in the road.

Since I bought it new, I brought it to the dealer many times for this
problem. Eventually  they basically told me that they'd given up and
didn't want to see me again with this problem (great service, huh).

My accident I found that plastic wheel covers were causing my problems.
Pry them off and see if it goes away.

Thanks, but I have alloy wheels so I know that is not it.
