Any known issues of 2002 Altimas with 2.5 liter engines cranking but not
starting? My wife's does this periodically.

Thanks,
Mike

Mike i have had similar problems with my 02 altima 2.5s. Has happened twice
since i got it. The engine cranks but won't seem to catch. I have had a
dealer check it out with no problem found. I simply have to let it sit for
a little while and then try again. Luckily it has only happened twice. If
you find out what the problem is let me know, would love to have it fixed.

A friend had the same problem it turned out to be the ignition.  Because
the new mechanic depends on diagnostics it goes undetected.
