The service manager at the dealership suggested I have the transmission oil changed next service...around the 25000 mile (40000km) mark. That seems unusual to me. I have the engine oil changed regularly, but the transmission....???? It won't hurt to do it, but if you are leasing or plan on dumping it before 100,000 miles, I wouldn't bother.
