Car Forum / Nissan / Nissan Altima / November 2005looking for tire recommendations
I'll be shopping for new tires for my 2002 Altima soon. So I'm looking for recommendations on tires. What I'm most interested in is a quiet riding tire. The last 3 sets of tires I've bought for my other vehicles have been rated for high mileage and all that good stuff but they've been very noisy. Any recommendations? thanks. They have held up really well but they aren't super quiet on the road. I used to have Toyo proxis tires on it. They were pretty quite but they were sport tires and wore a lot faster than the hankooks have. Generally, a softer tire will be quiter than a harder tire, but a harder tire will be louder. Tread design is also a factor. Ones with really big lugs will tend to be louder. |
