Hi,

I have a 2002 Nissan Altima. Recently the RPM drops when the car is
stopped or idling really low (~550). However, when I'm driving it's
fine. Also, the oil pressure light comes on during the RPM drop
phase.

Any idea what this could be?

Thanks
Maz

Have you checked the oil level?

Did you squeeze your fuel tube in an attempt to save fuel?  Some mechanics said they do that (it's a bad idea, it normally harms the fuel pump).  If you didn't that then check your fuel filter, it maybe dirty.
