the rubber was rotted . nissan wanted $8 for the part. used a rubber
faucet washer. was just the right thickness after experimenting on
lots of stuff from my junk box.

placed washer in place to see if it fit. and it helf from the friction
of the switch.

took it for a ride and cruise worked.

then supper glued rubber to brake pettle bracket inplace.

so far so good for a few cents.
