95 Max: Which is it GXE or GLE?

There is no tag on the body stating such. The owner did not know.

There is no spoiler so it is not SE.

Has leather interior, Bose stereo, power driver's seat, sliding sun
roof.

How do I know for sure? Did the GXE even come with leather option?

I have an SE (which has Bose, power driver's seat, alarm, and sun roof
options). I think GLE came standard with at least leather, auto climate
control, alloy wheels, automatic transmission, imitation wood interior
trim. GXE came with steel wheels and no wood.

the GXE could be optioned with a lot of the same stuff as the GLE. like
leather, bose, power seat. I think the only exceptions were the wood trim on
the GLE interior and the auto climate control.

Some years only the GLE had chrome door handles and SE and GXE were painted.
Not sure about the 95. Some years spoilers were dealer installed, so that's
no guarantee...

It sounds *just* like mine, and mine is a GLE. I don't think you could get
all those options in a GXE. Another strong indicator would be the wheels-
if they are allow and have a sort of honeycomb pattern, that would be
standard on a GLE. I believe the GXE came with steel wheels with a plastic
wheel cover.

Must be the GLE, has "wood" trim and alloy wheels. Thanks all for your
