87 Power antenna

The telescopic antenna is definately borken. When teh radio is turned on
and off I can hear the motor activated. Do I have to change the entire
motor and antenna, or just the antenna?

You can change the mast but normally part of the old one is broken off down
in the motor and needs to be taken apart to clean out the old broken off
mast cable wound up around the spool. Not difficult but isn't "simple"
either.

These instructions work for a 3rd Gen ('89-'94).
