Did you check both the door switch and the master switch on the driver
door?  If both do not work I would then remove the door panel and check
the motor for function.  But, if it were my guess it is the master
switch on the driver door.  I have had similar problems and have
replaced my 2000 Maxima switch three times.  They last a little over a
year before they blow...  The new switch is supposed to be the revised
unit and it has lasted a year and a half.  And, I am talking about the
one on the driver door.  It runs all the switches on all the doors and
if it goes the other switches will not work.  It is interesting that you
had the same problem with the same back door as mine...

Did you replace it yourself or at the dealer? How much was it?
