Hi, I have a '92 SE Maxima, I have this problem, when I brake the brakes
makes a high-pitched noise, it was very low about a month ago but now it's
getting louder. What can be the trouble for this sound? and how to fix it?
thanks.

The pads may need to be replaced or it may be from cheap pads that are
vibrating in the calipers. If they are worn out, you are ruining the
rotors by continuing to drive it that way. If they are not worn out you
might try anti-squeel shims.

The pads are worn down and the signal springs are squealing against your
rotors.  This is by design.  Have the pads replaced ASAP before the rotors
are ruined.
