Acceleration problem

When going about 10 mi/hr try to accelerate and there is a short delay
before it kicks in.  
Any ideas?

I have 1998 maxima, not sure on the trim.  How would I figure trim out
anyways?  But someone suggested that it could be an 02 cencor that couses
the jumps in accelerations.  I have 81000 Mi on it and had tunup done
within last 6 months.
