I bought a '96 Nissan Maxima just for 2 months.But the MIL was on
twice.So it costed me $600 to fix it. Is something wrong with the
gas?Would you please tell me how to avoid this kind of situation again?

Could have been lots of things, but not the gas. See the FAQs on

What did you have corrected that the MIL light was on for? If the
oxygen sensor was bad or the knock sensor. I always use super unleaded...
