Hey guys, just picked up a beautiful 2k3 SE 6-speed, only problem is
that the CD player only plays out of the right speakers, radio doesn't
have this problem. Anyone else had this problem or can suggest
something besides a new HU?

Try running a cleaning CD in it.  If the radio does not have the problem, it
sounds like the pickup head in the CD player is dirty.

This is a somewhat common problem with the Bose 6 CD changer unit. There are
posts on www.maxima.org concerning this. My 2003 SE with the Bose has this
problem (intermittent). Options to fix: a) replace the head unit or b)
repair the head unit yourself. I've heard that the problem is a cable that
goes from the CD read head to a circuit board. It has a bad connector and
soldering this connector will fix it. I haven't gotten around to doing
anything about mine so I can't vouch for the repair method.
