Hard starrting - RPM gauge stays at zero

Today I noticed that my 2002 Maxima CEL came on and the car took 3-4 start
and stop crankings before the engine would fire and run. Idle and
acceleration seemed normal, but the RPM gauge stays at zero even as I rev
the engine or drove the car. I pulled the code using my Actron OBD-II
tool, and got P0725 (first) and P0335 (second).  These are engine speed
sensor and crank position sensors, respectively. Where are they located? I
will first check the wiring/connection, and if that dosn't help will then
replace the speed sensor. Is this the right approach?

I guess it is. First thing is to verify charge voltage, at batt, at ECU. For maximum detailed info check clic clic 'Favorite Links' top left at this page http://www.cardomain.com/ride/748507/

I havent checked this particular issue from the 2k2 manual, but cannot believe this would be missing from those 'five thousand pages'. I hope u can find it
