Life of rotor

Hi

My car is 2001 Nissan Maxima 3.0 GLE

It was making some king of metallic sound. I took it for check up and got
different answers.

Someone told me problem with break pad and someone told me problem with rotor.

How much a rotor costs (front and rear) for Nissan Maxima GLE 2001

How much is the life for them.

You can look it up at www.rockauto.com The 5th gen Maximas (like the
'01) are known to warp rotors fairly quickly, but your problem sounds
like worn out pads.

depends on how hot you get the breaks when you are stopping
